this boy makes me happy

today as I drove home in the quiet I was in deep thought

of how the good is getting few and far between

and the i m p o r t a n c e to be that good

to create that good

to seek out that good in the everyday

to surround yourself with goodness

to go the extra mile to do what is truly good

and as I pulled in the driveway

my donkey watched me and twisted his ears

so I rolled down my window and called loudly for him

and he loudly hee-hawed back to me

as if to say all is good

all is good indeed boy

my heart smiled
